Triumph Tina the beginning

This blogg should have started last year as I have had this scooter since March 2011 from a guy called Mike from Worksop. I saw an add in a scooter magazine "1962 Triumph Tina 100cc with log book £300 ono"
I text him to ask, was he open to offers and had a quick reply YES. So the next day I drove up north to pick up all the bits
.

Again I had acquired a large pile of (strange to me) bits.

As you observant ones would have noticed no side panel's nor seat. So again I have a challenging restoration a head.

The Triumph engine was seized and I think there was a major part missing on the drive side

So I posted this picture on the Triumph Tina/T10 forum asking what was missing.

Also the foot rest support on the right-hand side needed felting and welding.

OK strip down time, first remove the magneto.

Undo five center retaining nuts.

Remove the magneto cover.

Now I can straighten and weld the chassis and send out for powder coating.
