Tina's Legies

Start preparing the two leg shields.

Right side is a bit bent and battered.

Left hand side not to bad.

Right hand side front.

Left hand side front.

Right hand side.

First remove the horn.
The screws are all seized so I have to grind a thin slot.

The slot is visible here.
Fits a nice large flat screw driver and a 5/16 spanner behind.

Finally removed probably been there since 1962, only 50 years.
Not sure if this will work again, we will see.
Nasty black thick under seal to remove from underneath

Nice remnants of the old Lilac paint on the top.

A little bit of welding and panel beating to do

A bit of heat and the old paint comes of easily.
All paint off the top of floor boards.

Time to strip the old white paint.

For it's age the steel is in good condition.

With paint.

Top bolt hole ripped, time for some welding.

Cut small plate to fit.
Weld and grind level.

First coat of primer.
Next I will spray some yellow sand-able primer to fill some of the small ding's.

Panel's  look relay good.

Little bit of filler for some small dings,
