Start preparing the two leg shields.

| First remove the horn. |
 |
| The screws are all seized so I have to grind a thin slot. |

| Fits a nice large flat screw driver and a 5/16 spanner behind. |

| Finally removed probably been there since 1962, only 50 years. |

| A bit of heat and the old paint comes of easily. |

| All paint off the top of floor boards. |

| Time to strip the old white paint. |
 |
| For it's age the steel is in good condition. |
 |

| Top bolt hole ripped, time for some welding. |

| Cut small plate to fit. |
 |
| Weld and grind level. |
First coat of primer.
Next I will spray some yellow sand-able primer to fill some of the small ding's.

Panel's look relay good.
